Violation of Consumer Protection Act by Vodacom

I am writing this email in regard to the amount that Vodacom claims that I am owing. I signed the 24 months contract of a cell phone with Vodacom of which I believe in that 24 months the cell phone was paid in full, the only additional benefit it was R125 airtime of which the sim card was also disconnected/blocked late September 2022. Since then I have never used any services of that sim card.

This makes me wonder how did you get to the amount R3300 while the phone is fully paid and with the sim card that was blocked, unless I am dealing with a **** I would understand. The Consumer Protection Act Section 14 ( C) states it clearly that I must be notified prior the expiry date in a recordable form before you can resort to month-to-month. If you may also provide me with the consumption records that lead to R3300

Please note that your contracts cannot supersede the Consumer Protection Act of which you have violated. Kindly put your house in order before you resort to taking money from consumers *******ly

The Consumer Protection Act Section 14 ( C) states it clearly that I must be notified prior the expiry date in a recordable form before you can resort to month-to-month. Is Vodacom exempted from the section?
