VIOLATION OF CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT

On 26/11/2015 I upgraded my internet contract with Freddie at Vodacom The Grove. I selected the 2GB R139 pm x 24 package and received a Vodafone R207-Z Wi-Fi Router. We installed the device on my husband's personal computer but we were unable to access the device from my personal computer over the network. We tried to solve this over next few days but were unable to do so. On the 1/12/2015 we returned to Vodacom The Grove. I told the saleslady that I decided to change to another option because of the problem with the router. I also told her that the Consumer Act entitles me to change my mind within 7 days. She, however, insisted that they (Vodacom) are protected by the contract that I signed and only wanted to send the router to be tested on my cost. She said I could not change my mind.
