Viddigo Vodacom **** Alert

I have never used the viddigo service, nor do I ever recall subscribing for the R10 per day service from Vodacom and its partner. From what i have read on other complaints, it seems that this service is somewhat of a ****, designed to be *********. It creates a situation where one can “mistakenly subscribe to a service” with the intent to bill the unsuspecting customers until they pick it up and challenge the subscription.

According to Vodacom: “A third party of the client may have subscribed to the service, however the service is not designed to enable accidental subscription. It would have needed to be subscribed to by clicking “Accept”. The below indicates the steps (as well as the timestamps) that were involved when the subscription took place:”

I have no doubt that i have never clicked 3 times to accept the viddigo service, and that the feedback is false.

Reviewer Update
I firstly want to address a couple of issues Firstly, Vodacom Representative indicated to Account manager that she had responded to my last e-mail, which was not true, as she did not. Secondly, her last response was still not to my last e-mail, and I have therefore stated again the contents of the e-mail in a response that Vodacom still did not respond to, as well as some additional information. The e-mails had been sent on the 5th of February 2024, and it is now 27th April 2024, nearly 3 months later. It is not appropriate that Vodacom ignore a mail from a business customer as they have done.
