Very poor service Vodacom Tygervally

My fiancée (Kim) and myself went to upgrade her phone at Vodacom Tygervally on the 5th September 2020. When we got there we looked through the book and saw the Huawei P40 lite which looked like it had good specs for a phone. So we decided to go with that, while we were upgrading at the store the one employee said "oh it doesn't have the play store", so we immediately said "no we don't want the Huawei, we would rather get the Samsung" so the Huawei representive at the store insured us that we would not have to worry as ALL the android applications are supported by the phone. So we said OK fine and took the phone. When we got home we found out this was not the case and that the phone does not support the applications which he said they would. Some included are: "Luno", "Casting media" & "Strava".

We went back to the Vodacom store to exchange the phone on 7th September 2020 (2 days later..) as it did not do what the Vodacom employee said it would do. They said no we can't exchange it because the box has been opened and the phone has been "registered". We spoke to the Manager at the Vodacom Tygervally branch which was beyond useless in helping us.

All we want is to exchange the phone (which we have barely used) for one that is actually working and does what we were promised it would do. My fiancée, Kim has been with Vodacom for 14 years and we do not understand why this has to be so difficult.
