Very poor service - Still waiting for communication!!!

Good day,

Ref: 1- ********** **********

On Friday 28th April i received a message from Vodacom at 9.56am to the cell number above. The message warned me that i have 249MB of data left. During the day i then dialed *111# and proceeded to buy data at R249 for 2GB. I went through the on screen options until the end when it tells you that thank you for your purchase you will recive an sms shortly.

I never recievd the sms to say my data had been loaded.

I then receievd another sms from Vodacom again warnign that my data was running out this was at 6.01pm telling me that i had 98MB of data left. So again i dialed #111# and proceeded to buy data again at R249 for 2GB.

I still recievd no sms to say my data had been loaded.

I then dialed #111# again and this time asked for my balances (detailed and, bill so far etc) i could not see my data purchases on any balance.

I received another sms from vodacom to say my data amount was now 49MB at 9.06pm.

On saturday morning at 8.07am i recievd another sms from vodacom telling me my data had run out???

I phoned Vodacom and after holding on for a very long time i spoke to someone who said they woudl put me through to the technical department, only for them to hang up on me or for the call to be droped. I phoned again and held on once again for a very long time. I spoke to a lady who after a very long time finally came to the conclusion that vodacom could not help me with why the data i brought was not being registered to me. She then informed me that Vodacom could not help me as it is a technical fault on vodacoms side, all she could do was lodge the complaint with the techinical department, but she could not tell me how long it might be until it would be sorted. She also told me to turn of my cell phone data until further notice otherwise i would be charged. I then asked to speak to someone else. I spoke to the team leader who said there was nothing they could do. This was Vodacoms fault and i have to suffer by turning of my phones data which i pay for!! The lady was quite rude in telling me this and told me that becuase of the public holiday they probably wouldn't be able to sort the problem out until tuesday!

What kind of service is this?? Because of Vodacoms technical faults i have to suffer. I did everything correct i brought data before my data ran out i phoned when i saw my data hadnt been loaded and all voadacom tell me they cant help.

To turn off my data from Saturday until tuesday is utterly unacceptable, we use this phone for emails and rely on this service for buisness purposes. Withour data we were unable to get our emails and our business suffered!

On top of this i am writing to you today Tuesday 09/05/2017 over a week later and i have had no response, no reply, no update from Vodacom NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL.

I was givent he reference No.1- ********** ********** on saturday 29 April 2017 at 9.46am and have had NO COMMUNICATION FROM VODACOM.

So please tell me are vodacom still dealing with my refernce number??????? its been 11 days since your team leader gave me this number, how long must a customer wait.

why do you not help your customers, hoe can you tell me to not use the service i am paying for because of your mistakes????

I also recived my bill and have an amount of R18.99 for data because your techincal error.

Please tell me how are you going to resolve this?

NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!

I am horrified with Vodacom’s service lately. Every month my data just runs like a tap, more than it ever used to. But Vodacom send me an sms notification to warn me that my data is running out (for example I have 248mb of data left). As soon as I receive this sms I then purchase a data bundle to cover myself until the new month. I have done this since being with Vodacom for years now. Now on the 28th September 2017, I received an sms as follows: You've used R603 out-of-bundle data on (cell phone number) so far this month. Dial *124# to buy 1GB data for 30 days at R149. Offer valid today until 23:59. Shocked by this (and knowing I have no choice) I then purchased a data bundle to cover myself. MY COMPLAINT IS: Why did Vodacom not send me a warning sms notification that my data was running out like they have every other time????? AND THEN further to this why has Vodacom failed to warn me, a loyal customer, that I am accumulating data charges ???? Why ONLY tell me when I've used R603 already!!!!?????? This is disgraceful, I can only conclude that Vodacom are in the process of ******** their customers. You always send warning sms's BUT now for September you cannot send an sms to tell me I am running low on data OR that I’m accumulating charges. According to your contract Vodacom will send threshold sms’s notifications when you have reached 50%, 70% and 90% So where are my notifications???? How can you charge me without notifying me?? Please, PLEASE go look at my account I always purchase data once I have received a notification warning me that my data is running low. You have cond me out of R603 !! What the hell?? Where were my notifications to warn me that I was accumulating charges????????????????????????????????????????????? Because I am a loyal direct debit customer do you think I am stupid and will not notice this ?!?!?! I expect someone to communicate with me asap, this is ****************! I cannot belive this is the only way to communicate with Vodacom when there is a complaint!
