Very poor experience

On the 3rd of June Vodacom allowed unknown individual to take up a new cellphone contract in my name. The individual used my banking details, on the 16th June Vodacom debited my bank account which I then immediately contacted Vodacom to report the matter, I was then given a reference number 1- ********** ********** 0and was informed to send in my copy of ID and Police affidavit. I sent through the document on the 21st June @09:20 which I then received an automated response informing that the documents have been received. Everything went quiet for two weeks; which led me to contact Vodacom on 4th of July to follow up on this query. To my shocking surprise, I was informed that my query has been closed without resolution because they did not receive the documents. This is real joke indeed for a big company like this. I have since emailed the documents more than 10 times and now one has come back to me. I can’t keep on reversing the debit order with my bank as this creates a bad financial record.

The second part is this, which I find very disturbing and nonsensical. Vodacom decided to cancel my original contract and migrate my number to Pre-paid; who give you the instruction to cancel my contract? No one bothered to contact me and verify this request.

You have absolutely if you don’t care about your customers. You have left a very distasteful experience and I don’t think I will ever trust Vodacom again.

Best regards,
I am still waiting for the agent to contect me.
Note that in the interim I took it upon myself to contact you and spoken to an agent in your cancellations department by the name of Hope Maswangane and he dropped the phone on me.This is very rude and disrespectful to a customer. I don’t appreciate his ill-mannered attitude towards me as a customer and this clear implies the kind of service he provides to all customers.
Iam really getting infuriated by this poor service I am expriecing.
