Very Poor Customer Service

I submitted my iPhone 6 to a Vodacom store after it fell on the screen and shattered. I've been paying insurance through Vodacom for the past 8 years or more with only one claim about 6 years ago. I consider myself a loyal Vodacom customer because my whole family has their phone contracts and mobile devices through Vodacom.

On Sunday at the store I was told that the phone is irrepairable and I completed a claim form, the technician advised that it will be sent to a technician at the repairs centre in Potchestroom and they will draft a report and send it off with the claim form to Vodacom insurance. I expected to have a phone by Wednesday as I use my phone for business purposes too.

After about 100 phone calls the whole week the phone was eventually only delivered in Potchestroom on Wednesday, then I was told that the phone will be sent to Midrand(only Vodacom will know why its neccessary for the phone to travel the country); I called the repairs line agaain this morning(Friday) and was told that the phone was allocated to another technician(in Midrand this time) and that their turn-around time is 21 days. The consultant was quite rude on the phone too.

How the hell can one sit without a business phone for so long? I thought I was paying insurance to avoid all this nonsence.

Vodacom your service is PATHETIC. I am still without a phone and basically have to wait until Vodacom feels they're ready to provide me some professional customer service.
