Very disappointed with Vodacom’s service.

In November 2025, I entered into agreements with Vodacom for two separate contracts following a telephonic sales call from a Vodacom representative, Sicelo Sithebe (***). During this call, I was promised packages for both contracts that included voice minutes and data.

Upon activation, both contracts received only the data allocation and no voice minutes, contrary to what was agreed during the telephonic sale.

As a direct result of not receiving the promised voice minutes, I was unable to contact my clients from 1 December 2025, which negatively affected my ability to conduct business.

I contacted Vodacom to report the issue. I was informed that Vodacom could not provide the promised minutes. Instead of correcting the error or honouring the telephonic agreement, Vodacom moved both contracts to a different plan without my consent.

I pay for these contracts via debit order, and to my surprise, an amount of approximately R4 400 for both contracts combined was deducted this week, despite the ongoing dispute and without the issue being resolved.

Due to Vodacom’s failure to honour the original telephonic agreements and the resulting disruption to my business communications, I am now compelled to change ownership and migrate these numbers to a business contract, incurring further inconvenience and costs as a result of Vodacom’s negligence.
