Very disappointed

So here's the deal:
I've been a loyal costumer for over 10 years now. Last year (2016) I started having problems with Vodacom, but thought it was all sorted. Then in June my debit order went unpaid, but the moment I got the notification sms I went to a Vodacom store and settled the debt. I knew the penalty fee was still outstanding, but I made provision for it in my bank account for the next debit order.

My next debit order, however, was quite more than just the added penalty fee of R100. I suspected it might be because of my new contract, but emailed Vodacom just to make sure why the amount increased. The reply I got from Tsepo had my blood boiling. It read:
"I have created a Debit Order Resubmission for the amount outstanding to be debited off your account."

Excuse me, what? I simply asked why the amount increased. And now they wanted to take even MORE money from my account? I was flabbergasted.

After maaaaaaaaaany emails (which I all kept as evidence), I eventually got an explanation of why the amount increased, as well as an apology and reassurance that the resubmission was cancelled. The email from Phindile read like this:
"We apologise for the previous response and the inconvenience it must have cost. We have also cancelled the resubmission request."

Ok, so it was sorted, I thought.

Then, on 13 December I received an sms saying:
"debit order resubmission has been processed as requested - to go off Monday 19/12/2016."

Again, what?! Really? You're putting me through this AGAIN?

Again I emailed (and in each email I had to explain that they have to EMAIL me and NOT phone me, because I work full time plus my phone was giving problems with receiving calls - lucky me).

This time I got a response from Hanneline (miraculously she got through to my phone). We confirmed over the phone on 13 December 2016, at 11:19, that my account has been settled, and that I did not owe Vodacom any more money (except for my monthly contract debit order). Her confirmation email read:
"As per telephonic conversation at 11:19 on number [my number], i advised you that your account is up to date and i will cancel the debit order resubmission."

Yay, it was over, I could enjoy Christmas. Not.

On 22 or 23 December (the sms is on my old phone) I got ANOTHER sms from Vodacom saying my debit order has returned unpaid. I checked my bank account. There was enough in there for some debit order to go off successfully, so I thought maybe the sms generated automatically because of the cancellation of the resubmission. I thought I'd rather not lose my cool just before Christmas.

So big surprise when I got a bank notification last at 22:56 that R100 was debited from my bank account by no other than Vodacom. R100. That's the amount of the penalty fee. So I was charged the penalty fee for a resubmitted debit order that never should have been resubmitted in the first place.

So Vodacom, I am now turning to you to fix this. I have tried to be nice and patient, but if 2016 taught me anything, it was that nice people never got compensated for what they've been through. You have put me on an emotional rollercoaster, making my heart plummet every time I get an sms that relates to you. I seriously laugh at every advert I see or hear about you guys, because costumer service means nothing to you. So you will now reimburse me for all my trouble in a satisfactory way, and you will somehow find a way to retain a once loyal costumer.
