Very Defensive Vodacom cannot account for Data Usage
I bought 30 Gig of Data, when it finished so quickly I tried to trace the reason behind this, it was basically depleted in less than 3 days. I called vodacom and spoke to a really wishy washy agent, who would say one thing then back track. One Minute I need to check on the vodacom app because they (Vodacom) don't give detailed breakdowns of data usage. Next thing I'm told "the app isn't always accurate, we are experiencing some issues."
Just a back and forth of me asking how I can check where all this data went and he couldn't account for it. Finally, we started going through a time by time usage of my data, which he didn't want to send to me ofcourse. At some point I think there was 2 or more gigs that just disappeared in less than a minute. He was just very defensive and couldn't answer my questions.
Then before the call ended he confirmed I'd get a call from his manager. I never received anything.
Best regards,

You can do the follow below to confirm what consumed your data bundle: Android Devices: Go to Settings, Tap on Data Usage and the list of Apps which utilised the data will appear there. Apple Devices: Go to Settings, tap on Cellular and scroll down to the Cellular Data Usage section. The list of Apps which used the data will appear there. Once you discovered which Apps utilised the data, switch the Background Data usage for these Apps off. Also make sure that you log out of Apps that is not being used while browsing the internet. (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
