I received an SMS saying that my contract will be cancelled on 30/06/2016 and moved over to a Pay-as-you-go contract. I definitely did NOT request this to be done. I visited a vodacom store and they showed me that a phone call was made to request cancellation and after that a personalized letter was sent to finalise the same. The consultant advised me to phone cancellations, which I did on the evening of the 28th and about 6 times after that. Each time I was told ridiculous stories. I also requested that they urgently look into it for me because my contract would have already been cancelled when they get back to me in 48 hours. Apparrently this is not possible?! It has now been 64 hours since I logged my query and I am without my contract. How can this possibly happen if they have security measures in place to stop unauthorized changes to a contract? This is both inconvient and a failure to protecct my privacy.
