Very concerned about service

Towards the end of July, I got a message at 23h30 on a Sunday night that a sim swap had been activated for one of my lines. I proceeded to phone Vodacom the next morning, and was told that nothing was picked up on the system, and that this must be a late notification of my contract upgrade which was done a number of weeks before. I was assured there was no cause for concern. Approximately a week and a half later, I got a call from Vodacom, stating that they received a call to upgrade my data contract, which was not requested by me. I did some investigating, and it became obvious at this point that an ******* sim swap was done. I called Vodacom back, asking them to block the line. This was done, and I requested feedback on this, as this is the second incident that I have had of this kind in the last year, and I expect some answers with regards to how this can happen, and am unprepared to pay for another sim swap due to Vodacoms security system failing. I received a call back about a week ago, with the consultant querying my claim on incorrect billing??? I corrected this, and the consultant stated that this query would be sent to the correct department. As of Wednesday the 17th August, I received no feedback, so I took it upon myself to spend 15 minutes on the phone, to try and get some answers, only to find out that the query is still unresolved. I was promised that this query would be fast tracked and that a consultant in the correct department would call me back within 48 hours to resolve the issue and give feedback. Unsurprisingly, I am still awaiting a call back. I have now been unable to use my data contract for about a month due to this, although I am sure Vodacom will have no issue charging me for this. I demand feedback on how my sim card gets swapped without my authorisation. Also, as stated, I am unprepared to pay for another sim swap, and am quite unhappy to pay for a month of data which I have been unable to use. I was also initially promised that I would not be charged extra if there was any additional charges on the swapped sim, which I sincerely hope will be the case.
