Very bad service

My troubles started when Evotel sold the infrastructure in Stone River Estate to Vodacom. My biggest issue with this is that we were forced to now sign-up with Vodacom at double the rates we used to pay with Evotel. Paying more would be fine if that meant we will be getting much better service. This was not the case. With the whole migration no communication was given whatsoever. On 3 October we receive a communication from our managing agent that Vodacom will be on-site the next day to do the migration. Some advance notice would have been great, because not everybody is at home all the time. I put in leave for the next day. The next morning our internet was cut. This was fine, because they would come and switch me over. I waited the whole day and nobody arrived. I made at least 10 calls to them. The call center was completely useless and kept transferring me. Nobody knew anything or could help me. I also sent various mails and to this date have not had any replies. This morning we received another communication from the managing agent that they will be on-site today to come and complete the migration (17 October). Once again no warning and assuming I would be home. Luckily I was home, because I was working from home. At 12:00 I took a walk in the estate and came across their team. I was on the list but my house number was wrong. I sent them a mail on the 4th to let them know that my address was incorrect. I guess it just got ignored. They promised to come in 15min. Nobody arrived and and by 14:00 I went and searched for them. I found them and this time they said that they don't have my modem on-site so they cant help me. How do you come and do an installation and not bring the equipment needed. The guy said that it is on its way and they will be at my house by 15:00. Guess what! They never pitched! What am I now supposed to do? I cant hang around my house until Vodacom decides to maybe do me a favor to connect me to the internet again.

I don't think I have ever received that bad service in my life. At this stage I am forced to accept this bad service, because our fiber lines are not open to other ISP's. You can try to phone or contact the migrations guys. They could not be bothered. It looks like Vodacom makes so much money that they could not care to try get new business.

A month ago I bought a pre-paid sim card. I could not load data via their app, because there is another number associated with the account. Do you think anybody could be bothered to help me. This is the general theme in Vodacom. Not to assist their customers!
