Very Bad Experience and Very Unhappy
On 27/10/2025 I was contacted by Lulama from Vodacom business.
She advised me that she is just calling me to inform me of my new prices and benefits for 2 of my telephone numbers. That very same afternoon, I had a look at the numbers she called me about and realized I will be paying more for something I am not even using. I contacted my vodashop representative at the time and requested assistance. I was informed that they can not assist me and I need to send a letter to customer care requesting for the migration not to happen. This was done, and I allowed for Vodacom to get back to me. Vodacom did not get back to me and everytime I called in I was advised they can not assist me I need to await response from Vodacom Customer Care. I have forwarded the email again for follow up with no response. On 9/12/2025 i called in again and Mable tried to assist me, but her manager advised her I need to give Vodacom 7 business days. They can not help me. I informed her email was send 7 November already - still can't assist me. AGAIN emails was sent to customer care for response. On 11/12/2025 I contacted Vodacom again and spoke Philisiwe, Transferred to business devision - spoke to Venisha. Manager will call me back today. No call received. 17/12/2025 was the 1st response and phone call I got from Vodacom and it was Londi Khumalo. He confirmed that there is barely activity on the line that was migrated. Confirmed the line will be back on normal package from end of month. He will contact me via email with regards to the outstanding amount in arrears on my account - directly towards line ***. I never received a phone call again or email again. 24/12/2025 Just after lunch all our phone lines went dormant - suspended. I contacted Vodacom AGAIN, and AGAIN nobody could assist me. I had to go pay the amount in order for my lines to be activated again. The 1st person could not assist me and ask me to call in again. I got through to Stacey - who helped me as good as she possibly could. 1st person to go out of their way to assist me. I went to a Vodacom shop for payment as we were not able to arrange our work or do payment via eft as the data were also off. Stacey advised Voda Shop will call them after payment and request lines to be activated. Once payment was done - I was informed by Voda Shop Keywest, that is not how it works and they can not assist me ONCE AGAIN - no assistance from Vodacom! I walked out and called the call centre myself again. the voice prompts assisted me to the correct department and another consultant was able to assist me to activate the lines again. I have sent numerous emails of complaints to Vodacom requesting someone to call me and assist me. WHY DO THEY HAVE CALL CENTRES AND CUSTOMER CARE EMAILS AND VODASHOPS IF ABSOLUTELY NOBODY CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE EXCEPT FOR WHEN THEY NEED TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!
