Venomous Vodacom
Over 4 and a half months (148 days to be exact) since I logged my first request to re-locate my Vodacom fibre line and 104 days since I was told that I don't actually have service at the new premises that I moved to (40 days after I submitted my request to re-locate my line). On the 28th of December I requested that my fibre line be cancelled (as there is no service where I am living now) and that Vodacom refunds me a pro-rata amount due to the poor, shoddy and pathetic service I received from Vodacom and I am still waiting for my refund. They managed to cancel my fibre line ... wow! Got that right, but now I wait for my refund. Vodacom are very quick to take money but when it comes to refunding it ... surprise, surprise - it takes forever!
I could write a full log book spanning pages of how many times I made phone calls to Vodacom to sort this out and many, many and e-mails I sent but to no avail. Vodacom are just not bothered to sort this out.
I have said this before and I say it again, I used to be very proud to say my service provider is Vodacom, now I am too embarrassed!
I am so tired of this struggle but out of principle I will not give up!
Best regards,
Best regards,
Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.
Please note that we escalated your query to our Fibre Billing team for further assistance. Based on the feedback provided, the team has assisted and provided the below feedback.
The customer’s credit was loaded and the 01 March 2021 used the credit amount. The customer had also reversed the end of February debit order, which means no refund is due as the credit was used. An updated statement was mailed to the customer.
I trust this is clear.
