Valued RED customer

Vodacom invited me and a partner to attend a film premier in Rosebank on the 26th Nov. They asked for me to RSVP, which I have tried several times. Each time the e mail is returned undelivered. I have since tried calling Vodacom, starting with the customer care line 111. After 20 mins on the line they couldn't help and referred me to the Vodacom Red number (apparently) ***. After about 25 min they were no help either. They referred me to Vodaworld who transferred me to 3 different people. They eventually put the phone down on my call after first not knowing what I was talking about and also because of the poor quality of the call. How do I now find out if I should just pitch at the event, or accept it as just another failure to provide decent service by Vodacom? it appears they can't even get a promotion right
