V-Live? Vodacom *****s airtime with **** subscription service

I rarely phone or sms these days - certain apps and data have almost made that obsolete in my life. I always kep an airtime buffer of about R350 - R370 just in case. So imagine my surprise when, 3 months ago, I try to make a phone call only to find I have no airtime. Assuming I'd run out of data somewhere that month, I didn't get hysterical. I figured I deserved it for making a stupid mistake like that. And then, keeping an eye on my data consumption, imagine my surprise a month later when I have enough data, but not enough airtime to send an sms to a business contact... and again this month, having only sent 1 sms and having "lost" R35 of airtime in 6 days...

I work 6 days a week and had to take time off work to charge into a Vodacom shop where the very helpful lady explained to me, after looking at my phone, that V-live (a vodacom system) had been deducting R5 per day since 18 April 2017 for a Gaming subscription. I've owned 5 cellphones in my life and never have I had any interest whatsoever in playing games on my phone. ever have I given permission to anybody to subtract airtime on a monthly basis for any reason at all. I find it ironic that I had to go to so much effort to get a cellphone contract from Vodacom, yet they "subscribed" me without my permission and have effectively ****** more than R600 from me in this way.

So I decide to lay it all out in a factual email, demanding that my money is returned, based on the fact that they were acting *******ly in claiming my airtime without my permission, only to find that they have suspended their customer care email system (according to their website: "Please note, that in line with Vodacom's aim to respond to customers' queries quicker, we have temporarily replaced the email function").

If I wanted to try and talk to someone in their super noisy call centre, I would have phoned. I don't want to waste my time deciphering all the noise - I want their communication black on white so that they cannot try to lie to me as had happened before when contacting their phone based customer care. When something goes wrong with Vodacom, they really are bad at receiving the complaint and fixing it. We'll see tomorrow if they can help me if I can figure out what the call center operative is saying, but how dare they discriminate against the hearing impaired in such a way? My mother has hearing problems and if this happened to her, how would they have assisted her without email?
