Utterly Disappointed

I was contacted by Vodacom Mondo on the 13th of September 2018 in which a lady informed me that is was due for an upgrade on 3 of my Vodacom contracts and that she can help me with that.... That sounded appealing to me since going to Vodacom store in Lichtenburg North West where i live is like a 2hour plus process. She asked me what i was interested in, i told her i was looking for a laptop for my daughter's birthday but it should be a decent thing since she needs it for high school. She told me about this amazing offer on laptop with 3GB Ram, 500GB harddrive with Norton Anti Virus and Microsoft Offie 365 for R279 a month for 24 months. I took immediately thinking this is a deal of a lifetime..... I was terribly mistaken. What arrived at my house on the Monday was a Mecer xpression z140c with a 2GB Ram with a 32GB hard drive, not at all what i asked for or was offered. It started the most unbelievable nightmare with Vodacom for a week long to find out what went wrong where and how to return this thing. Being put through countless departments and speaking to endless consultants some of which where so incredibly rude i burst out in tears several times of frustration and lack of getting anything resolved. I finally managed to get the thing returned to Vodacom but getting a cancelation on this pathetic deal is becoming the worst of all. I am to my wits end and sitting with my hands in my hair. I will never in my life upgrade online ever again and i will cancel each and every Vodacom contract on my name as their contract expiry dates approaches. I've never had to deal with people that has such little regard for a fellow human being and their problems which they created. Never again

I would like to thank you for taking the time.... Making the effort to truly go in on the situation and resolving it. You have restored my confidence in Vodacom and i realized tonight after talking to you it really is a employee's that makes or breaks a business. The last few days, in my struggle to get the issue resolved I've come across people that really have no peoples s****s whatsoever not even talking about sympathy towards my issue and really made me feel like they did me a favor for taking my call. Vodacom should reward you for how you handle their customers, because of you i will stay a Vodacom member. If you had a personal rating system i would give you 5 stars Kind regards Zandri
