Useless Vodacom - crinimal organization
i did an online upgrade but the system crashed and proceeded to do it via the phone. the lady who helped me said the online application has gone through as a new line and not an upgrade. i asked her to cancel it to which she agreed. i continued with my upgrade with the lady. My upgrade was delivered just over a week later and all was good. another week later another phone was delivered to me via RAM couriers and the driver had my reception sign for it which is totally against the RICA laws which i will take up later with legal people. i asked them why and they had no answer. i instructed them to collect it from me as i cancelled it. they agreed to do so. after two weeks i called them again and the gent promised me it would be collected. a week later it was collected. today 11 days later i tracked it with the ref number i received and saw it was returned to Vodacom on the 14th. now today i made 10 calls to get answers as to why it is still not cancelled on my profile. i stopped counting at the 8th attempt to be helped. eventually a gent said he will call me before 3pm. well it is almost 4pm and nothing. people please be aware of this incompetence and lack of service delivery. i am cancelling my debit order with Vodacom until this is resolved. if not before month end Vodacom will not be paid me and they will carry the costs of any return debit order. Totally and utter uselessness. i will also open a case of ************ and theft if they proceed. i cannot be hold ransom for an product i do not have.
I have an ******** line activated against my account. As you say your calls are recorded please have a look at all calls made to you by me. Small short explanation:
1. Tried to upgrade online but did not work.
2. Phoned and did the upgrade online.
3. Agent informed me that the online did go through as a new line not an upgrade.
4. I instructed her to cancel it as it is wrong as I wanted an upgrade. She agreed to do it.
5. I received my upgrade a week later.
6. Next week after that I received a phone call that RAM delivered a package to my receptionist. I thought it was the R4000 Samsung Bluetooth headphones I got as a gift from Samsung upon my upgrade. This is against RICA laws and should be investigated.
7. Opened box next day and saw it was another Note20Ultra.
8. Instructed Vodacom that it was done by mistake as I did not order a new line.
9. They agreed to collect it.
10. RAM collected it again.
11. Vodacom received it two days later in Pretoria. RAM reference/track number COL***2. Proof already mailed of tracking sequences.
12. Phoned almost 10 people yesterday with no luck getting it sorted.
13. Today I find out that it was LIKEMINDS that actually did the new line. How is this possible as I was on the Vodacom site?
14. I phoned both the numbers for Likeminds known to the public: *** and ***. No luck either.
15. I am canceling my debit orders on Friday and moving my account from FNB to a secondary account to prevent any money being deducted until this is resolved.
Unless this is resolved I will ensure everyone including the ombudsman that you are in ******** agreements with 3rd parties that is committing ***** and holding people emotionally hostage.
