Useless Vodacom
After over a month of back and forth emails and phone calls to numerous departments of Vodacom, I have had enough.
Vodacom Northgate made the mistake of not capturing details correctly and not documenting my insurance. I handed in my phone for repairs at Vodacom Cresta at the end of August. It keeps getting sent to the advanced repair shop in Pretoria and back again to Cresta not fixed. Why? Because Vodacom is utterly useless and has zero customer service. Every time I have to phone the repair call centre and explain to the 7 million different people who answer that it is not my fault that Northgate stuffed up with the documentation, I get told I must speak to Northgate. Northgate tells me to speak to the Insurance department. They refer me back to Northgate who refer me to the call centre who tell me to speak to Insurance who replies with I need to speak to Cresta as they must send in the claim form and so on and so on. This is beyond unacceptable. Every month I am billed for a device that is not in my possession as it is with YOU Vodacom. Therefore you are charging me for something that is not being provided. That is a breach of contract. This is ********** and basically theft.
I am so sick and tired of being told that I need to speak to someone else all the time. Your employees made the mistake - why the hell must I struggle this much to sort it out?
It also doesn't help that when you contact the Advanced repair centre they never answer the phone. Do not know how they are so busy that they cannot answer the phone as I know damn well they are definitely NOT busy FIXING MY PHONE.
I want this sorted out immediately or I will take this matter to ICASA and the Consumer Ombudsmen.
I struggle to understand how you could possibly be this bad at providing basic services if one considers how long you have been operating.
Do you just not care? You will happily take my money each month but do not deliver on what was agreed on in the contract. I do not see the need to pay every month when I am not getting what I am paying for.
I want my phone fixed or if that is too difficult a task (which it seems to be) then just give me a new phone.
And maybe train your employees better on how to capture data, follow proper procedures and how not to put the phone down in someones ear when a customer has called.
