useless service angry client

i went in to vodacom on the 26.2.2017 to upgrade my account as i was informed it was time.

after sitting with thier salesman #2 MAKC04 at the kolonade branch for half an hour discussing my options i decided not to take a new handset as the one i have is still very good.

i confirmed with the salesman three times that i would not be billed for both the previous account and the new one. still making a joke as to vodacom billing for things extra. He asured me i would only recieve a bill for R299.00 and R8.00 for itemised billing at the end of the month. low and behold they debit my bank account for R738.50 saying it is for the old handset and the new vodacom account. now i remember destinctly asking the guy if i would have anything other than the new account being billed and he said absolutely not. three times. they have informed me that i will again be billed at the end of this month for the handset again. i would have upgraded my account two months later if i had been informed that these amounts were still outstanding. Vodacom need to train thier staff properly if they want to keep thier clientel as i will never again open any account with them. i will go to cel c or mtn.

i have been passed from pillar to post at vodacom only after pseaking to cancellation department still being told i have to cancel at the branch where i opened the account what on earth is the cancellation department for? Vodacom has deteriorated badly over the past 13 years that i have been with them and i will be so glad to be rid of them
