I think I have to get a lawyer or something, even though I cannot afford I will live to pay the lawyer.

If I knew taking out a contract with Vodacom was going to be this painful, I would have staying on prepaid and bought my phone cash. It's hardly 3 months but the service I'm getting sucks.

I went to Game Rosebank to take out a contract through Vodacom and I was told I will pay R158. Like some other South Africans, I had unauthorised debit orders on my account. I then went to my bank on the 03rd December 2016 to open the new account and they sent the new bank details to Vodacom. On the 20th I got an sms from Vodacom that the debit order rejected. On calling them I was told they havent received anything from my bank. I then gave them the details and they told me they updated my account and that they will investigate what happened as my bank proved that they did sent the confirmation to them. First I was told that there was insufficient funds in my account and secondly that my bank rejected the debit order and the message was that "Account closed". I called Vodacom again and was told the banking details were updated on the 06th Dec but they couldn't debit me. Now I suppossedly owe them R100 for penalty fee. Even after they told me they will call me back after investigation. I have since been waiting for a call from TSOTANG, supervisor and he was just useless. I called again and spoke to Vuyo who even rude and she even hung up on me when I asked for her personal email address since Tsotang requested I send my bank statement to them for investigating how come the debit order was unsuccessful. Tsotang is forever not in the office to take my calls and no one seems to be wanting to assist me. All they do is send me voice messages to remind me to pay the stupid R100 or my line will be closed. My bank statement is lying somewhere with someone who clearly doesn't know what to do with it regardless of the subject line saying "FOR TSOTANG". What do I have to do in order to get help from Vodacom? I'm out of options and I can't take this anymore.

Can someone please do their job for once for what you call "loyal customer".

#GATVOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
