Useless Fibre and empty promises

On Saturday the 1st of February I went into the Vodacom Shop in Westwood and signed up for your Fibre promotion you had all over Facebook for, if memory serves me correctly about R450.00. All went well and your sales person, Nosipho, was excellent, the service was really good and I even spoke to her about moving both my fiancé and my cell-phone contracts over to Vodacom as soon as they finish in August. I received a router with an lte sim with 100Gb data to use in the meantime until my fibre gets sorted out. On the 14th of February we received an e-mail stating that our fibre is now active. BUT nobody came to my house to install said fibre line plus the e-mail stated my address is in Umhlanga whilst my real address is in Berea West, Westville. Our sim card we received now all of a sudden did not work anymore and we were without Internet. I went back to your store in Westwood on the Saturday where I spoke to a manager from said store. We figured out that there is an existing fibre line that ran to the house on the property, which is empty. I live in the cottage on the same property. Ok so maybe that was my mistake because I did not inform you that there was a line that was used before (but this line was through Afrihost so I did not know that the same line is used by multiple companies). Your Westwood store was very helpful and I received a new sim with about 5GB of data (which did not last long) to see me through until everything gets sorted. At this stage I informed your Westwood staff that I am working in JHB every other week so I need it to be sorted within the coming week. Otherwise I won’t be home. On Thursday that week a technician was sent out for what I assumed was to install the fibre line. I was informed by said technician that he was actually just here to activate the line, but without any Fibre coming into my house and without any box installed inside my house he is unable to do anything. I went back to your Westwood branch immediately where I spoke to a manager and he promised me he would call me back by 8:30 the next morning to tell what time the fibre installers will be at my house to install said line. By about 11 that day after numerous attempts to phone the Westwood branch, which went unanswered, I decided that once again I will take leave to go to the shop and speak to the manager because he did not keep his promise to call me by 8:30 to let me know when the installers were coming. At the store said manager informed me because it’s raining he can’t do anything and he is in communication with Vumatel and Vodacom head office, I asked him then why he did not bother to call me like he promised and I couldn’t get an answer from him. He however promised that someone will still come out on that Friday to install the fibre. Guess what????? Nobody came, AND nobody bothered to phone me to inform me what is going on. That Saturday I packed everything up to return it and cancel the contract because I was tired of being **** to. I spoke to a different manager at the store whom had no idea of the promises made and broken the previous few days and he calmed me down and actually gave me the store router so that my kids can do their homework over the weekend for which Internet is essential. During the coming week when I was JHB for work my fiancé had to return the shop router and we received another router delivered to our house through a delivery company with a different sim card, after I complained on Facebook. The next week I was working in JHB again and we received an email stating that our fibre would be installed on the 2nd of March. We emailed back and postponed the installation for a week because that week I was back in JHB for work. On the 9th of March finally vumatel came to install the fibre and I thought my troubles have finally ended. Once again a technician was sent out on the same day to come and do the activation but guess what ????? Vodacom once again activated the line running to the main house on the property and not the freakin new line that was installed on that very day. After numerous phone-calls and many many many lies where everybody else was blamed a technician from vumatel came to my house at 19:30 he eventually left at 21:30 without resolving my problem. Yesterday vumatel was once again sent out to my house where they again informed me that the line to the main-house was activated and not the new line running to my house. I was promised that both Vodacom and vumatel would come and sort the problem out yesterday but nothing was resolved. But Vodacom had the audacity to send me my bill for February and now all of a sudden I get a bill of R850.00 plus when I was only supposed to be charged around R450.00. Not that I even have the product that I’m getting charged for. Now I ask you with tears in my eyes can someone from Vodacom get their act together and phone me and sort this issue out ASAP. I’m left with a sour taste in my mouth and I will inform everybody that even considers moving to Vodacom to rather stay with useless Telkom because at least with Telkom you expect bad service and not from Vodacom.

I wait, with no anticipation that anyone at Vodacom would even bother to read this or bother to assist me, for your reply.
