Urgent: Unresolved Dispute and Poor Service Experience

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Vodacom in relation to my recent attempts to cancel a 2-year data contract.

Approximately two months before my contract was set to expire, I was contacted by Vodacom and asked if I wanted to renew my contract. Despite expressing my desire NOT to renew, I have encountered numerous issues and a lack of confirmation regarding the cancellation of my contract. Additionally, I find myself in arrears of R400, despite having diligently paid thousands over the years for various contracts with Vodacom.

I have been attempting to resolve this dispute for over a year now, facing significant challenges in the process. It is disheartening to note that while Vodacom is exceptionally helpful during the onboarding process, the same level of assistance is noticeably absent when customers attempt to cancel or choose not to renew their contracts.

This behavior is particularly shocking coming from a company of Vodacom's stature. I am sincerely committed to resolving this matter amicably and request that a helpful and knowledgeable representative from Vodacom's customer service team urgently contact me to address this ongoing issue.

Hi,
It should not be with Legal Division. You guys sent it there. Why should I call them?
I am not paying the amounts you over charged after I asked for the 2 year contract not to be renewed. You ignored my request not to continue billing as well as my end of contract cancellations.

You should sort it out with Legal Division

Ive stated my case several times. I will not pay the R450 charged after the contract expired.

I asked not to renew and requested a cancellation which was ignored.
