*Subject:* Urgent Resolution Required for Unblacklisting Case

*Dear Vodacom Support Team,*

On December 24, 2024, I contacted the Vodacom call center regarding the unblacklisting of a recovered device. I was advised by the representative that I need to complete an unblacklisting form, which was subsequently shared with me. On the same day, I received a case reference number for the unblacklisting process.

Upon reinstalling apps on the recovered device yesterday, I noticed that there was no network signal. I called in today to address this issue, but none of the agents were able to assist me until I provided the reference number. I was then informed that the unblacklisting request had been declined without any correspondence or notification.

I demand that Vodacom uphold its commitment to customer service regardless of the customer's status or geographic background. This experience has been frustrating and time-consuming, and I expect a prompt resolution.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to the Khayelitsha Patrol Forum for their efforts in recovering the device.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

Sincerely

Reviewer Update
Dear Vodacom,

This email is to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent phone call I received at 19:35 on 28 January 2025 from a Vodacom agent.

During the call, the agent informed me that Vodacom does not administer the unblacklisting of devices and that I need to contact the insurer. However, the name of the insurer was not provided.I believe this resolution is inadequate and demonstrates a lack of transparency.I request the following:

  1. Clear and concise instructions on how to proceed with unblacklisting my device. This should include:
    • The name of the insurer I need to contact.
    • Contact information for the insurer (phone number, email address, website).
    • A step-by-step guide on the unblacklisting process.

2.Confirmation of whether Vodacom played any role in the blacklisting of my device.

3.A formal apology for the inconvenience and lack of clarity provided during the phone call.I expect a prompt and comprehensive response to this email within [ timeframe, e.g., 5 business days].

I kindly request that all future correspondence regarding this matter be directed to my email address: ***

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
