Urgent cancelation however they will not and I am within the 7 days!! Please help

Good day to all,

I have contacted Vodacom itself I called and spoke to 4 different people dated Friday 24th May 2019.

I went into store Vodacom 4 U in mall of Africa last Saturday 18th May 2019 to do my upgrades on phones.

However within the last two days I have run into unforseen circumstances and will be immigrating in 3 months time.

So being WITHIN THE 7 DAY AND 14 DAY PERIOD.

I CALLED TO CANCEL MY UPGRADES AS I NO LONGER CAN PAY THEM WANT THEM OR USE THEM DUE TO ME LEAVING THE COUNTRY.

however on the Vodacom 082 111 and 082135 I called and spoke with numerous people and I was advised it can be canceled and not upgraded as it kicks in and starts the 1 June 2019.

And I am within the 7 /14 day period.

I advised them I have opened and used the handsets I have taken.. Not the little wifi routers. Which I would also like to return and not upgrade I want to cancel. Before it kicks in.

Vodacom customer care people advised me to take all back to shop as it needs to be in store... 3 people advised me they have to take phone back. It's Vodacom policy. Contacting the store I was advised this is not the same policy..

I need an urgent arrangement if the phone is an issue I will pay 24 months for the handset.. SHOULD THERE BE NO RETURN POLICY AS THEY SAY BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ESCALATE IT. BECAUSE WHY ARE THE POLICIES DIFFERENT...

However.. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED INTO ANY 24 MONTH CONTRACT WITH MINUTES CALLS ETC... I DO NOT WANT AND CANNOT USE IT ABROAD... I BELIEVE IT IS MY RIGHT TO APPOSE THIS AS I DO NOT WANT THE PHONE CONTRACT.

however speaking to the manager I feel forced into the contract and have been informed nothing they can do...

This is very disturbing and I am confused with the conflict of information Vodacom portrays as when I called call center I was informed with in 7 days I take all back.

I can stop the upgrade and not be bound to the 24 month contract.

I too was informed that perhaps I would be charged the first month rental of the handsets but I was able to return all...

I NEED CLARITY AND ADVISE AND HELP AND ASSISTANCE...

THE PROBLEM IS ALSO.. WHEN I LEAVE THE COUNTRY HOW WILL IT BE PAID?.. SO IN ACTUAL FACT I'M TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING BECAUSE ONCE I'M GONE ALL IS CLOSED...

SO NO ONE IS SEEING THIS AS A PROBLEM...

I NEED THIS TO BE SORTED. I CANNOT BUY THE PHONES OUTRIGHTM I AM PREPARED TO PAY 24 MONTHS THE HANDSET

BUT I DO NOT WANT THE CONTRACTS MINUTES DATA ETC.. OR AIRTIME..

ID LIKE IT TO BE PAY AS U GO.. WITH NO AIRTIME EVERY MONTH.

NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ASSISTING WITH A SOLUTION.

TODAY I WILL BE IN STORE.. AND I WANT IT TO BE DOCUMENTED.

I AM NOT SURE IF THE STORE IS BUYING TIME SO 7 DAYS IS OVER.. BUT I AM MAKING SURE THIS IS DOCUMENTED AND WOULD LIKE THIS ESCALATED.. AND ASSISTED URGENTLY..

I AM WITHIN THE DAYS..

I SEE NO REASON FOR NO ASSISTANCE..

PLEASE CAN SOMETHING BE SORTED ABOUT THIS...

I AM IMMIGRATING...!!!! WHICH MEANS I AM NO LONGER PART OF SA.. WHICH MEANS.. THERE WILL BE NO BANK ACCOUNT WHICH MEANS NO PAYMENT....

LET'S PLEASE SORT THIS OUT URGENTLY!!!!

KIND REGARDS MELISA
