Urgent: Account Cancellation and Write-Off of Outstanding Amount

I requested the relocation of my line two months ago, and despite the time that has passed, this has still not been completed.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the delays and the repeated assurances that have not been fulfilled. At this stage, I do not wish to receive any further calls or promises regarding the relocation. Please cancel my account with immediate effect and confirm the cancellation in writing via email.

Furthermore, I have been billed for a full month of service that I did not receive. I therefore dispute this charge and request that the entire outstanding amount be written off.

Please confirm in writing:

1. That my account has been cancelled; 2. That no further charges will be added; 3. That the month of service not received has been credited; and 4. That the outstanding balance has been written off and that no amount remains payable.

I would appreciate written confirmation as soon as possible.

Kind regards, Xavier

Can you people read? I said cancel my account. I don't want anyone to make contact with me and I don't want to call anyone. Just cancel my account and confirm that I do not owe you.

I am formally escalating this matter and placing on record my continued objection to your refusal to cancel my account, despite the fact that I have made numerous explicit requests for cancellation.
Your response makes it clear that my cancellation requests have not been actioned, and I am now demanding that this matter be dealt with formally and without any further delay.
Within 48 hours of receipt of this complaint, I require you to provide me with:
  1. A complete record of all calls relating to this matter, including call recordings, call dates, times, durations, and the relevant agent or representative who handled each interaction.
  2. All internal notes, account notes, case notes and correspondence relating to my account and, specifically, my requests for cancellation.
  3. A complete record of when my cancellation requests were received, by whom they were received, and what action was taken in response.
  4. Written confirmation of the current status of my account and cancellation request.
  5. Written confirmation of the date on which my account will be cancelled, with no further charges being raised after the effective cancellation date.
For the avoidance of doubt, I do not consent to further delays, repeated calls, or further attempts to persuade me to retain the service. My instruction to cancel the account has been made repeatedly and should be actioned accordingly.
I also dispute any charges raised for services that were not provided and reserve all rights to challenge any outstanding balance arising from your failure to action my cancellation and/or provide the contracted service.
Please treat this as a formal complaint and escalation. I require a substantive written response within 48 hours. Should you fail to provide the requested records and confirmation within this timeframe, I will consider escalating the matter to the appropriate regulatory, consumer-protection and/or dispute-resolution authorities without further notice.
Please ensure that all records relating to this dispute are preserved, including call recordings, account notes, internal correspondence and any other relevant electronic records.
I expect your written response and the requested documentation within 48 hours.
