Upgrade nightmare and still in proses:

I was due for an upgrade with Vodacom. I actually did not want to continue my contract with them because of absolute BAD service. When I phoned in end of Aug 2018 for upgrade options and telling the Upgrade consultant that if he does not give me a great deal, I will move to another service provider that can offer me what Vodacom can't. Before my call to Vodacom, I did do some research at other service providers, and they did indeed offer me good packages.

Now the consultant from Vodacom helping me, obviously made a plan and promised heaven and earth. I repeatedly said that I don't want my monthly charge to go over a certain amount and he needs to confirm that it won't. he said that it won't and it will be the way we discussed.

My phone arrived on 3 September. I only opened the box a couple of days after with the realisation that the phone was faulty. I reported it within 7 days and asked that they pick up the phone and send me a new one. The first day I phoned for collection, I spoke to a William. William was so unfriendly but said he will get RAM couriers to collect the phone within 3 - 5 working days. After 5 working days, I still had the phone and no one came to collect it. I phoned again and spoke to a Sibusisu. He said no one made arrangements for the phone to be picked up (William did not request anything) so Sibusisu said he will. It will take 7 - 14 working days. (different from what William said). At the end of September, I still did not receive any calls from any one to arrange pick-up. On the 9th of October, I phoned in again an spoke to Vusi. Vusi said that no one made any arrangements. At that point I was furious and told Vusi that I need to speak to a supervisor or someone that can help me to sort this out. At the same time, I received an invoice for October with charges of almost R800. Double charges for handsets etc. I told Vusi that this is incorrect and they need to sort that out as well. I spoke to Phindiswa in die After sales department confirming that they have cancelled the upgrade and arranged that someone will collect the phone.

On 25 October I phoned for the 5th time. I immediately requested to speak to a Supervisor. I was transferred to Annalisa. Annalisa said that she will investigate both matters, the faulty handset and the charges and get back to me. She phoned back and set she requested feedback from the back office and will let me know as soon as she hears anything. I last spoke to her on the 25th, today is 30 October and still no word. I have tried getting hold of her and no one knows who she is and can't give me alternative numbers to contact.

What do I have to do for Vodacom to sort this out. There will be extra charges on my account that's not correct and I still have a faulty phone!!!!!!!

This is unacceptable. I need feedback ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
