I have been trying to upgrade my UChoose350 contract which ends on 26 March 2017 from 26 December 2016. I upgraded online (don't ever do that!) to a SamsungGalaxy S6 and received an email with order number and everything. A few days later I checked on Vodacom4Me to see why it is taking so long, only to log in and get a message to say there is an incomplete order and my number is not due for an upgrade. So I waited but the message came up everytime I logged in. I thought it was too early. On 26/27/28 January I logged in to find the same message. I phoned Vodacom and the consultant told me I am due for an upgrade and can do it over the phone now. I declined as I did not know what handset to choose seeing that the S6 is was not available? Eventually I decided to go to a Vodacom shop in the Kolonnade Centre, only to be told the S6 has been discontinued and they cannot complete the admin as there is still the unsuccessful online upgrade. After many calls and emails to Vodacom I am told it will take 7-10 working days to cancel this non-existent order. In the mean time the handset I want is sold out day by day and Iam still not able to upgrade. This is unacceptable service from Vodacom. One department tells me there is a block on my number and can only be removed within 24 hours while the other tells me the cancellation of a non-existent order will take 7-10 working days? Do they know what they are doing? No wonder so many people migrated to Cell C...
