Upgrade nightmare

After being very happy Altech Autopage customers for a decade we have had our accounts moved to Vodacom. Despite all the hype, Vodacom is NOT S.A's best network because a simple upgrade has been turned into a nightmare month long process. After trying to upgrade online (told a consultant will call back 3 times-never happened) to arrogantly being told we couldnt afford most phones because according to Vodacom accounts dept. we were blacklisted (ran a specific credit check myself to check ***-turns out its another lie) to now being told one of the few phones Vodacom will so kindly agree to upgrade to is out of stock, and theres no idea when stock will be in. Really???? And lets not forget how much more expensive Vodacom is on their contracts, while I always thought this was fair for their perceived excellent service, I now feel this is just another SA company *********** its customers for max. profit while providing min. service.

Well, the automated reply shows exactly what Vodacom thinks of this issue. And yet again after trying the manager of the upgrades department and the supposed customer service department today, we still havent gotten anywhere with this issue. So thanks for nothing Vodac!om, we will be looking for an alternative cell company! My biggest regret is that I cant give Vodacom a negative star rating here!
