Upgrade Issue

I've always been told that you can do a pre-mature upgrade (2 months earlier than normal (20months) if you have an average spend pf more than R1200 pm. Was very excited to upgrade today and were told that the new system does not allow this. I was informed that the business rules and proposition did not change, it is simply that the new system does not cater for this functionality. No one offered me any other option, I am now stuck because of degraded functionality on the new system. I am speechless.
