Upgrade ***** at Vodacom must Fall

" Without Prejudice''

I had the worst experience with Vodacom who has a reputation for bad service. Avoid this ************ Service Provider at all costs as they support crime.

After being harassed by Vodacom to upgrade my contract. I received my account statement a few weeks later, which included various services ( new line and a MyGig 10 package) and a handset i did not apply for.

I phoned customer services and they advised me that i had opened another line. I requested more information as i did not apply for these services. They gave me the run around and informed me to open a ***** case and send all documentation to documents@ vodacom.co.za, if i dispute applying for these services. The only information they could give me was a telephone number which was constantly engaged or ''off'' and that the person had app**** online. I was not even registered for the Vodacom online services at that stage, which by the way turned out to be a lie.

My first impression was , how do you obtain the ********** documentation to submit , if you did not apply for these services in the first place. I did an Affidavit at my nearest police station and went to the nearest Vodacom shop. You will note that in these type of alleged ***** cases , the staff are very unhelpful and they act as if you are not allowed to obtain these documents, of where and when and with which ID the contract was upgraded.

Remember that if they deny you these documents they are aiding and supporting crime and they are guilty of defeating the ends of justice, which is coincidentally also a crime. With some persuasion i managed to get the shop manager to print the documentation for me, which was used to commit *****. Don't let Vodacom fool you, al their shops have access to all and any accounts opened. I determined that a copy of my id was used with a photo of an unknown perpetrator pasted on.

It was determined from the documents that the services were app**** for at a Vodacom shop, that they did not request proper proof of residence, they did not request proper proof of income and that no employment verification was done, which begs the question, was this an inside job? Thus due to the gross negligence of Vodacom a ********** upgrade was possible, which in itself can open a legal claim for damages against Vodacom.

Armed with this new information i opened a ***** case and obtained a case number, which i provided Vodacom at ********** , ********** and ********** They all rep**** to some extent, but the Executive Client Liason confimed ***** within a week. This is not the end of the story, because you see even if Vodacom are willing to reverse any line upgrades, they still want to deduct money from your account for the handset, which is why the ********* committed the ***** in the first place.

I wrote numerous letters to the CEO , advising him that Upgrade ***** was confirmed by Vodacom (Pty) Ltd. and that he would note that my handset installment miraculously increased from R81.40 on the January 2018 invoice, to R850.88, as per the MMS account statement received from Vodacom, on the 18th of March 2018.

At this stage it was common knowledge that i did not apply for an upgrade, thus there should be no handset installment after more than 2 years, but still no satisfaction from my dear Service Provider.

I will not support crime and i urge all readers to make written submissions to the Specialized Commercial Crimes Unit , if you are experiencing the same displeasure. It is a branch of the South African Police Services by the way and they specialize in matters like these.

Dont feel intimidated by the CEO of a large corporation, as according to law he can be held vicariously liable. Vodacom is aware of large scale internal ***** inside their organization and if we as subscribers open up enough ******** cases , we will without doubt be able to get the cooperation and attention of the Hawks to investigate .

I will continue this good fight because i am not going to pay for a handset, which i did not apply for. Good luck to All. Exercise your right of expression, free speech and equality before the law #Upgrade*****@Vodacommustfall#
