Upgrade excitement dashed in a hurry

My Samsung Galaxy S4 was due for an upgrade and I started reviewing Samsungs as my S4 is brilliant. I decided on the Samsung GALAXY S7 as a worthy replacement. On 31/08/2016 I receive a sms asking me to visit vodacom located on the ground floor in Canal Walk to get my upgrade.

Upon arrival at said shop that same day I am told by Mario that the admin department were only supposed to send out the aforementioned sms on the 1st of September.......sorry ....and come again later.

Day 2.....I arrive at Vodacom again and go straight to Mario.....during the long process of issuing a new device to me, Mario inform me that I can return the device for a straight up swap, should it be faulty in any way. I was also issued with a new NanoSim, which I paid for in store and was told it would be activated within 24 hours.

Sounds like a happy a happy ending? Afraid not!

48 hours later and my new nano sim is not activated yet and low and behold.....my new S7 is rebooting itself without any input from me....up to 3 times an hour. My S4 never did this.

Then I decide on 3 September....I will take the device to Vodacom and get myself a device that actually stays on.

Not that easy....apparently Mario **** when he said it would be a straight swap out......I now had to book my brand new device in for repairs that would take 7 days.....wonderfull.....now what do I do?

Back to my trusty S4 until I get my brand new repaired unreliable S7 back.

Vodacom staff need some intensive training!

the Vodacom Canal Walk Saga continues.
On the 9th of September I collected my supposedly repaired S7 from Vodacom Canal Walk. I was informed the the OBF claim was rejected, because the problem was a software issue that had subsequently been resolved. I got home and put said device on charge. On the 10thof September I eagerly switched it on and took a few photos with the fantastic camera and within 30 minutes the device froze on the home screen and started getting hotter by the moment. I could not switch it off and no matter what I did it.
Off I went to Canal Walk Vodacom and was once again told that my phone would be booked in again for another 7 days. At this point I siad I would would like a loan phone and after some choice words from me, one was issued to me. It is now the 16th of September and I have still not got the phone that I will most definitely be billed for at the end of this month and for the next 26 months thereafter. Is this the kind kind of service that all Vodacom Customers get or am I special? What do I need to do or who do I need to speak to in order get a working Samsung Galaxy S7. I anyone has the email address of the MD of Vodacom or if anyone knows if there is an Ombudsman that is involved in the regulation of companies like Vodacom Canal Walk......please post a private reply.
Customer service quite obviously means nothing to Vodacom.....with millions of customers the can probably afford to have unhappy customers......what do they care.
In response to my last posting a Faiek Mohamed from Vodacom contacted me and the best he could do was give me the number for the Vodacom Advanced Repair Centre.....thanks Faik, but I could have Googled that.
The next person from Vodacom responding should try and come up with a solution.
I am fed up and so are a lot of other loyal Vodacom Customers.
Kind Regards
Norman
