Upgrade Disaster and hiding behind emails
I did an upgrade on the 29th November and still have not received delivery of the phone, but what really annoys me is that when I phone the Upgrade Centre to query what is going on I am told to send an email and someone will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours. What kind of service is that when a company the size of Vodacom starts HIDING BEHIND EMAILS instead of having to deal with their clients. In this case I got a response saying a request has been sent to the warehouse to resend. That was 4 days ago and nothing since. Even escalating to customer care etc has achieved nothing. I am still no closer 11 days later to knowing when this phone will be delivered.

12 Dec 2019, 08:29Its wonderful that you send a Generic email stating that a consultant will contact me in due course, but as I have learned with Vodacom they are basically all ***ards and if they can avoid having to deal personally with an upset client they will go out of their way to do so. Rather every time I phone I am told that I must send an email.
