Upgrade Disaster
Towards the end of July 2015 we visited the Vodacom Store in the Pavilion to Cancel our two contracts for our Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 devices. We were told explicitly that he could not process this until the 10th August and \we would need to return to the store on the 10th August to cancel these contracts). We also started a new contract with Vodacom for a Samsung S6 Edge and did a sim swap. During this time Junaid was uninterested in what was going on. He would leave the table to go and chat to his other colleagues and friends and also would take personal calls during this time. His service was so bad that he "forgot\"" to put the new sim card in the bag and we then had to call the shop. He obviously denied this but when we returned to the shop the next day he had the sim card ready and waiting. How convenient. We did as instructed and went back into the store to cancel the other two contracts and were then informed by another Sales Rep that it is not possible to do cancellation in the store and we need to call the cancellations number. As a result of being misled by Junaid we are now being charged an extra month (R770 in total). Staff at Vodacom clearly do not know the procedures."""
