Upgrade department product knowledge is pathetic.

After upgrading my contract through Vodacom upgrade call centre on the 22 May 2017 I waited with anticipation for Vodacom to contact me to arrange the delivery of my new phone. After almost 2 weeks of calling and chasing up my delivery i was told that the upgrade was not valid because i had ordered and accessory pack with my upgrade and those sorts of upgrades need to be done through the online call centre. This is point 1... why are the staff at Vodacom not trained adequately to inform people doing these upgrades that they need to contact a different call centre to perform the upgrade? After contacting the online centre i was informed that the accessory pack I had ordered originally had been discontinued and I could no longer do the upgrade with the accessory pack. THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF UPGRADING TO THIS PARTICULAR PACKAGE IN THE FIRST PLACE. This is point 2.

While upgrading my one contact number I also did a migration on my other number from 1 package to another. On the 30th May 2017 all the accumulated data and airtime I had (350 minutes and 1.5gb data) had been erased because the untrained staff had set the migration date on my contract to the 30th of May. I was taught at school that there are 31 days in May.... so now... because some call centre agent can't count, I have lost all my data and airtime for which I payed a considerable amount of money during the previous months.

I would like Vodacom to compensate me sufficiently for the lost data and airtime.I was refunded R300, which i might add was put into the wrong contract. In what world does R300 compensate me for 350 minutes and 1.5gb of data?Vodacom should also make a plan for the accessory pack that I originally was promised when i did my upgrade on the 22nd May.
