Upgrade

I have been a Vodacom subscriber for almost 20 years, and never have i been so dissappointed in their service. Because i dont have time to go to a vodashop, i thought i would try doing my upgrade online.

Whole process was rather easy since i already knew what I wanted. Did the whole thing and waited the 3 days they said it would take. After 3 days, nothing. No one has phoned to confirm the order or anything.

So I phone them again. The friendly gentleman that helped me, told me that the order was cancelled on their side. Now i ask you, how is that possible? He then says, no worries, he will just re-instate the order for me and the upgrade can go through. 2 Days later i get the confirmation call and all was well.

After another 2 days and no delivery, i phoned Vodacom again to find out what was going on. Oh sorry mam, it seems there was a problem with the delivery company, they couldnt find your adress. Then i asked, but why didnt they phone me?. After another lot of apologies, the package was delivered 3 days later.

When i open my delivery, i find everything that was suppose to be there was not delivered. I phoned Vodacom immediately, the agent that helped me goes on the system to check for me what it says on their side, and we find out, the first agent that helped me, didnt reinstate the order correctly.

So they say that i have to go back to that agent that will have to reverse the upgrade, come and pick up the package and then start all over again with the order i wanted originally. After being transferred to almost 3 diffrent people, the last person i spoke to and was very unfriendly to by that stage, sent an email the the responsible person, so that, that agent can phone me and do the neccesary steps.

After another week and still no word, i phone Vodacom. After being sent from one department to another, one of the agents i started yelling at, went and put in a reversal request, with an instruction that the courier come and pick up the package so that the reversal can be done. After getting my refrence number 1/ ********** ********** we ended the call and i thought everything will be sorted. But sadly i was wrong.

Today, a further week from my last conversation and promise from Vodacom nothing has happened. I phoned them again today, and once again was sent from one person to another. When i finally get to the right person, I'm told, Sorry cant help you, my system is offline, call us back in 30 minutes.

Now, i dont know about other people, but this is just to much! Not just is this terrible customer service, but a sure way to loose more customers. And in a day and age like ours i dont see how any bussiness can afford to alianate their customers.
