UPDATE: Vodacom Still Non-Responsive – Lines Suspended Again Despite Ongoing Dispute since June 2025

This post serves as a further update to my previous HelloPeter complaints regarding Vodacom. Unfortunately, nothing has improved — in fact, the situation has escalated. Since my last written follow-up to Vodacom, sent on the same email trail as before, I have again received no response whatsoever. No email. No written feedback. No attempt to resolve the dispute. No billing explanation. Nothing. Despite this complete lack of engagement, today Vodacom once again suspended all my lines, including internet access, while the account remains formally disputed. To be clear: This matter has been ongoing since June 2025. The dispute arose from incorrect contracts and charges issued by Vodacom. Devices linked to those incorrect contracts were only collected months later. Vodacom acknowledged errors and advised that credits would be app****. I repeatedly requested clarity on how those credits were calculated and app****. I have never received a proper emailed invoice or billing breakdown, despite continuous requests. Most recently, I was informed in writing that a further credit would be app****. I queried how and when this would reflect, and again received no response. Instead, I received an automated SMS reflecting a new amount owing — followed by immediate service suspension. At the time of suspension: I had an unresolved, documented billing dispute; I had been told credits were due; I had no billing transparency; I had no communication from Vodacom addressing my queries. To make matters worse, today I attempted multiple times to contact Vodacom’s call centre to resolve the suspension. On each occasion, once I began explaining the history of the dispute, the calls were terminated by the agents. No assistance was provided. This is now a clear pattern: Vodacom does not respond to written correspondence; Vodacom does not provide invoices or billing explanations; Vodacom applies or references “credits” without transparency; Vodacom suspends services while disputes are unresolved; Vodacom provides no meaningful channel for resolution. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter professionally and in good faith. I have documented everything, escalated internally, and raised this publicly — yet I am still left without service, without answers, and without resolution. At this stage, I am again formally requesting: Proper written engagement from Vodacom; Full billing disclosure; Resolution of the disputed amounts; or Cancellation of all Vodacom contracts without penalty, as trust has completely broken down. I am updating this complaint because even after repeated public escalation, Vodacom still does not engage, and consumers should be aware of how unresolved disputes are handled.
