Update: Vodacom, can you even spell Customer Service??

This post comes as an update on my previous post - "Vodacom, can you even spell Customer Service?" - following poor service levels and incorrect billing.

My origianl post was on 6 May 2018. On 7 May 2018, a consultant phoned me and all was explained to her. She gave me her word that she will take responsibillity and deal with and sort out previous mistakes. The consultant processed credits on my wife's account as promised.

However, according to our calculations, there is still an amount that was not credited - an amount for a connection fee which Vodacom was not supposed to charge. .

For the past four days I've sent e-mails to the consultant who phoned me on 7 May 2018 - using the e-mail address from which she sent me an e-mail, as I need to get a breakdown of the credit processed to confirm our suspision. Every time I get a READ RECEIPT but to date, no reply from this consultant. When phoning the number from which she phoned me from, it just rings and eventually prompts that "subscriber is not available". Vodacom Customer Care call centre or accounts cannot provide a copy of the credit note processed (??).

When enquiring to which division the e-mail address or phone number belongs, nobody seems to have an answer, nor are they fami**** with this specific consultant who assisted me.

So it seems that Vodacom has some phantom eomployees working in a phantom department.............

Unfortunately Vodacom, not everything has been corrected yet and it's taken a week of frustration and numerous phone-calls to get to this point.

Proper Customer Care still eludes you though and knowing a few people who are not happy with their current service providers and thinking of moving over to Vodacom, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT........I will rather deal with signal and data drops now and then than deal with this type of frustrating manner of "Customer Service"
