*****_up of Vodacom upgrade
On 29 November 2023 i online asked Vodaco to upgrade my datacontract, that was due to expire to a special deal on300g anytime data and 300g night owl plus a Alcatel router for R299. I had some difficulties updating on line and therefore i contacted the upgrade center via cell phone. I repeated my request and while i was on the line, the agent told me one of the numbers on my contract was long overdue to upgrade. So while i am on the line i did that. The numbers to be upgraded was Data contract *** and phone update ***. I then received a qwotation on phone update , witch i signed on line and sent back. No contract or qwotation on Router. On 31 December 2023 i received a message on my personal phone, *** that my phone is not registerd on network. Can't or receive calls. I then wit difficulty contacted Vodacom via Tobi and an assistent on whattsapp, only to be told my phone has being blocked because i changed it to a data contract, no airtime. Now tell me in heavens name why would i cancel a contract wich was not due for an upgrade, while i already have a data contract for 600g? I use this phone for everyting but now it is also a data contract. To top it up Vodacom wants me to pay a penalty of more than R1250 plus tax for so call migration. All i want is that Vodacom please change my contracts to what it was. But they lack the urgency to assist me or held me responsible for faults make on their side. I suddenly received a qwotation fo so call of my personal phone on 31 December.
