Untrained Staff

The staff at Vodacom are untrained and rude.

I have been a customer of Voadacom for over 15 years.

Never in my life have I come across such *********** staff.

I was called by a person saying that they are from Vodacom, I asked the phone and had to listen to music for about 30 seconds before I "Vodacom Employee" decided to speak to me, I was then asked for my ID number, which I refused to give as they were phoning me and it could have been a ****, the Vodacom employee then bul**** me by saying that he can't continue the call if I don't give him my ID number, which I told him that I would not give to him. I have a recording of this call so I have proof. Shortly after that my phone was soft locked. Which took took from the Friday until the Monday to get opened. I was also told by the accounts department of Vodacom when I phoned in that I was in arrears that have been since May 2017 (how the hell is this possible) was also told by the call centre that I owe R1.5k and then by the accounts department that I owe R689.00 (clearly you can pick up that the staff have no clue) I ask the accounts lady to please justify her statement and please so a sum for me, I told her that just before for the end of the month that my account was in credit and she argued it was not. So I asked her to please so a little sum for me - Take the amount that is due on the 03/10/2017 less the payment made on the 03/10/2017 what does that give you. She argued that I was never in a credit balance, I asked her please what is the amount left after the payment on 03/10/2017, so you had a credit of R169 only. I then asked her to please explain why I wasn't called and thanked for my overpayment but that my line was soft locked because I was 4 days over payment date. I asked her if she had accounting training and she refused to answer the question. How do you employ staff with zero s****s?

Also I had an issue last year and had to make a loud noise to get some response, where I was being charged for something that I didn't have, my account was credited after I was offered airtime instead (really not ethical). I have been trying since August 2017 to get something taken off my account that I don't know about or want "Vlive" I have phone numeruos times been into the Bayside Mall Store but nobody wants to help me, now two weeks ago a call center person said they can remove it, I told him that I want my money back as I don't use whatever Vlive is. Between R56 - R81 for the last 14 months must be refunded to me. Haven't not heard a word from Vodacom regarding my refund.

However today I get a call from a untrained staff of Vodacom referring to me as WWood, This is very disrespectful, I told her my name is Wendy and that I never completed forms stating that my name is W. She continued by calling me WWood then had the cheek to ask me about my upgrade, I told her I know I need to upgrade but don't think that I have been treated fairly by Vodacom so will be looking to move to another service provider. (all my calls are recorded so I have proof of all the above.

Thank you. A very professional lady by the name of Moddy has contacted me. I have forwarded her all the recordings of my experiences with Vodacom 5 recordings in total. Moddy has promised to assist with my issues. Vodacom needs to employ more staff like Moddy, professional and customer driven.
