Untrained personnel
I upgraded my contract and settled for a Microsoft Lumia 550. I was served by Christelle Erasmus.
She informed that the Lumia 550 uses a NANO SIM which I would have to purchase for an extra R63.00, and that I'll only be able to operate the phone on Sunday. The old phone would then be deactivated. My old phone actually stopped working Saturday evening (19.3.2916). As I was about to slide the NANOSIM into its slot I realised to my dismay that the new SIM does not fit and was totally too small for the size of the bigger slot. I must say that I felt outright upset. Christelle even acknowledged that she has no knowledge of how the Lumia 550 works and she was not in a position to give me any operational guidance. Because of Christelle incompetence this means that I have to now travel 25km to and fro to have her silly mistake fixed at my expense, and of course the inconvenience of not being able to communicate. This is unacceptable. What compensation is Vodacom prepared to offer me for my extra expense, time and effort?
