Unsuccessful porting afetr amost two weeks: 3 Vodacom Shops 4 Consultants
Since 11 June 2018 I have been sent from pillar to post with regard to porting in my number from Mtn to Vodacom SP. Through no fault of their own the consultants who have tried to help are as frustrated as I am. I have been to 3 Vodacom shops and assisted by 4 consultants. To date my number cannot be ported in.
The frustrations I am told come from the migration of Vodacom to some C3D system which the local Vodacom shops are unable to assist with. e-mails have been sent to Vodacom SP porting department. When the porting is done it is either it does not show any progress for days. Today (21 June 2018) the system shows some errors which must still be communicated via email again. This is another 48-hour wait. Really, it so disappointing that a giant company like Vodacom struggles with porting. Or it because porting in is not financially important for their bottom line?
