UNSUCCESSFUL PORT FROM CELL C to VODACOM

Porting from Cell C to Vodacom I've tried to port from Cell C to Vodacom since last year without any success. Vodacom says request is submitted but stays pending. Cell C says there's no problem on their side to release my number. Please assist. Following sucfessful port to vodacom I need to get a aim data contract.

Can it be such a struggle to just port from one service provider to another? I don't know what to do anymore
