Unsolicited subscriptions - **********?
Goodday We trust you could help us. We consider what has been happening from time-to-time with us on the same phone number as **********, depleting funds. During February 2018 our Vodacom Top-Up airtime depleted, which in usually never happens. We limit the use of the phone for business, however do not use the phone as much. Hence this effective Top-Up contract. Adding R100 airtime, we could make one only phone call of few minutes and trusted there would be enough for the remainder of February. A day later, the airtime was again depleted. With no more funds to purchase airtime, BUSINESS HAD TO WAIT as we waited the month out to have a new contract month worth's airtime. One phone call early in March and with the next, our AIRTIME was DEPLETED AGAIN. This was 7 March 2018. Absurd. Phoning Vodacom Customer Support we were informed of NUMEROUS subscriptions that we had no clue of and the consultant admitted that as long as they are there, the airtime will just keep running out since they run on airtime. It also appears that one subscription draws more subscriptions resulting in a whole list! This renders us without the use of a phone for calls since as soon as we add airtime it is depleted. Sorry Vodacom, it doesn't work this way. PLEASE SECURE YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS. Right now the phone evolved to a Whats App device only; not satisfactory. We DO NOT PLAY GAMES. We did not subscribe to any of this list of subscriptions. Why does Vodacom allow this to happen? It is not the first time, but every few months we find these unsolicited subscriptions taking airtime and data. The MO then is to call Vodacom and using precious time (in August in amounted to nearly five (5) hours in one week!) to find the solution for missing data and airtime. We also sent this to HelloPeter. Trust have this troublesome issue solved in a secure and permanent manner soon, Best regards Louise Vermaak
