Unsatisfied Vodacum Customer

I have a Red Core contract which is due for an upgrade. I went onto the Vodacom Web site and saw a sim only package for 3GB data and 100 minutes for upgrade at R199.00 per month x 24 months. I phoned Vodacom upgrade department and was told that the price would be R279 per month. I queried this and was told that depite what their web site states, the R199 is only for new customers and an existing customer will have to pay R80 per month more. I have been a Vodacom customer for 32 years. I am disgusted with how Vodacom treat existing customers. Maybe I should look at another provider and transfer my number ?
