Unsatisfied Account Amount

I have been a happy customer of Vodacom since 2003 when I first received my very first handset. In 2006 I changed my number which I eventually upgraded to a contract number. This contract I paid without delay every month until I started a process of debt review (DRP) in June 2018. Upon start of the debt rehabilitation process I was informed that Vodacom cannot be included in the process which I accepted. I requested Vodacom Accounts Department to not bill me for the entirety of the DRP as I am unable to utilize the data and airtime that would be billed to my account with Vodacom. This was an arrangement that was in place until I finalised the DRP in June 2023 afterwhich I found out that I was billed for the duration of the DRP, I have been in contact with many people at the Vodacom Accounts Dept as well as sales representatives at the walk in store located in Canal Walk. Finally I was simply told by the Accounts Deprlartment that I am liable for the data and airtime that I never used and have already expired. This is the first matter I wish to have addressed.

Additionally I need the outstanding amount that is due to Vodacom to be reduced to zero in order for the "soft lock" to be removed from my Vodacom Contract Number, because this is preventing me from authenticating my WhatsApp which is critical for my work.

I have agreed to pay R1500 per month in order to meet Vodacom half way but feel that I am being treated unfairly for the data and airtime that was billed while I was unable to utilise the contract number. Your further assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

An alternative number where you can contact me is *** or during working hours ***
