Unsatisfactory to say the least!

I ordered one of the back to school tablet deals, which comes with two Lenovo M10 tablets and a R500 stationery voucher for R229.

However, it did not come with the stationery voucher. I checked the delivery box and even opened both tabs, which I didn't want to do as it is a gift - but I opened it to check which one of the two boxes might have the voucher in it, before actually inquiring with Vodacom.

I sent a message on Facebook to ask how I go about obtaining the voucher and whoever was responding, just made the inquiring process so annoying.

He or she clearly is not up to date with their product knowledge and expected me to do their research for them. I was asked to send a screenshot of the deal I got (even after mentioning the deal, as well as the contents of the deal and the box I received). I sent a screenshot of my invoice as it mentions everything on there but this person felt the screenshot was not clear enough... Again, me doing their rsearch for them because all they could have done was take the information I provided and done what my toddler could do and search for it on the website, or even search with my details to find what contract I had been approved for. But no - I sent another screen shot, cropping out the rest of the information, so only the contents of the deal is visible.

I was asked some security questions and told they would look into this.

The next morning, I woke up to a message asking me to check the delivery box because the voucher normally comes with the delivery - did I not lead with what I received and what's in the delivery box and the actual tablet boxes?

Plus, I took the liberty of getting the voucher information from the Vodacom website myself, which seemed to be rocket science for this person responding... And it actually mentions that the voucher is in fact NOT included in the delivery... So again, your agent not being clued up on their product knowledge and processes and having me do their job.

Your website mentions that the voucher is sent virtually via SMS, which was all your agent had to respond with and this query would have been resolved in under three minutes.

"All Back To School deals bought from Vodacom includes a FREE virtual stationery voucher. This voucher can only be redeemed online at Planet54.com for items such as book, files, chair bags, pens - or anything stationery related. All items will be delivered at no additional cost."

After mentioning the above findings, I once again am told that they will look into it.

So what was done the day before when I was told initially it is being looked into? So it took you a day to come back to me with "check the delivery box, the voucher is normally delivered with the item"? Which by the way is not the case as per your website. So you looked into something and came up with nothing, just to tell me you're looking into it again?

ALSO, I am receiving statements via text message to this new number that nobody has yet and it is for statements in somebody else's name - someone I don't even know.

This tablet and sim card will be used by a 2 year old and I really do not appreciate unsolicited information being sent to him. I will be paying for this number, why do I have to be sharing it or be receiving other people's statements?

This is the 3RD unsatisfactory experience in under 2 months with your social media team. It's really annoying because I love Vodacom and have been with you guys for years. I always recommend Vodacom as the best but this is getting ridiculous.

It's been FIVE days since I received my tablet and queried this via social media and I still haven't received a response.

I've wasted enough time on this now. I'd just like some proper feedback and information on when I can expect to receive my voucher and whether this number is being shared and how to resolve the issue and stop receiving other peoples statements please...

That is all, nothing more and nothing less...
