Unsatisfactory Service with Vodacom Account

Yeah! i upgraded on 16 February, my contract was about to expire.

1. Upgraded online with a Smart S+ contract as it gave me what i needed (except the 200sms), but heck, i had a brand new Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, delivered to my doorstep.

2. Start viewing the accounts, as budgets are tight and extra costs, because you have to pay for the new phone and old phone until your old contract expires.... But nothing... only the old contract. Red flag

3. Month after month i have been querying with Vodacom the following.

3.1 Handset for the J7 Prime is not on the tax invoice.

3.2 On contract expiry the Smart S+ contract should take effect.

3.3. I should enjoy all the benefits of my new phone and new contract.

4. Vodacom Statments. These are mailed, so they are correct and this is the same amount that is debited off your check account. Check. That is done.

4.1 The problem with this is. The invoice is a 0. Big round 0 for the past 3 months. AND, ooh don't forget, the first month is on the NXT LVL contract. On 11 May, after no success with customer care, i went to my local Centurion Vodacom and changed the contract back to Smart S+ (THAT I WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE).

So i have been phoning Vodacom, 31 Mar, 13 April, 11 May, 02 June, 22 June... and the lady that i have just spoken to said " you have not reported this problem".. Oh my dear! i almost had a heart attack.

I have a few reference numbers from the calls, [ ********** - yet to phone me back from my query 11 May].... but aren't they supposed to see (or sms the ref #) to your mobile once they have done talking to you?

So in the interim. I have a "prepaid" phone, on my online Profile (Thats where i saw NXTLVL for incase one was wondering), i still pay R75.00 a month since this month for 1 Gb data... no handset...

So i wonder when Vodacom will realise this and send me a HUGE bill, because "I didn't report this"... all those sms they sent after the call to "rate the service" is not enough evidence.

Secondly, yes, secondly, my data contract was cancelled in February, and still keep on getting tax invoices for that. So i did the right thing and cancelled it again today. 22.06.2017 Ref 1- ********** ********** . Let's see if this pops up again.

Vodacom, please sort this out... I will not renew my contract when it expires next. unfortunately i will have to wait 2 years... I am extremely disappointed as i have been with Vodacom since 2001.
