unsatisfactory results

On the 23rd of May 2017 I called Vodacom 111 customer care to log a request. My samsung galaxy S7 had a damaged screen on that week so I needed a copy of the contract from them to book the screen replacement under warranty. I was told I need to draft a letter for the request, send it through with the copy of my I.D. document and use my cellphone number as subject. just after end of call i did just that and was told it will take up to 3 days to process the request and recieve the copy. after 3 days i made a follow up and the consultant i was speaking to said they are waiting for me to return a consent form that was sent to me, after i disadreed with her she then asked me to hang on while she checks with someone who did the request. She came back and said there is something not right about the request and the only person who can answer is not there, she said she will escalate the query so the copy can be sent to my email. On the 2nd June i made a follow up and still there was no answer, I was told to wait for another 24 to 48 hours, the query has been sent through to the relevant department. Today is the 9th of June the day my 1 year warranty expires with Samsung and the lady assisting me said on the system it says they did not recieve the letter from me, I then asked which letter because "I sent letter on the 23rd May", she checked again and told me the other department said they have recieved now the letter and they will process my query, I should wait for another 3 days. My problem is today is the end of my 1 yerar warranty and now Samsung will charge me for the screen replacement which was meant to be free. n Vodacom is liable for the delays and they should be accountable for the repairs. I am so disgusted from the 23rd May to 9 June they cannot do just a small thing. Vodacom has such a bad service lately I cannot wait till end of contract to get out of this service provider. I will not even recommend to anyone.
